Humanities

The Humanities Department consists of a team of 13 teachers who work in the subjects of Geography, History and Religious Studies.

Miss Bainbridge is the Subject Leader and Mrs Code is Assistant Subject leader and Head of Geography

During KS3, students will study all three subjects each week, covering topics such as Weather and Climate, The Romans and Hind Gods/Goddesses.

At KS4, students have the opportunity to opt for GCSE History and Geography.  All students will follow the Full Course Religious Studies GCSE.

We employ a variety of teaching and learning strategies within the classroom which enables us to strive to inspire each student to achieve their personal best.
