Outdoor Education

At Furness Academy we have 4 members of staff qualified to teach a range of outdoor and adventurous activities.

Activities include climbing, kayaking, skiing, mountain biking, navigation, and the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.

The school has an extensive range of equipment and facilities including an indoor climbing wall.

Due to its location the school has immediate access to various sites in the Lake District national park.
