What Will I Do On The Course?
This course offers you the opportunity to gain an understanding of the world of electronics and the opportunity to design and make a range of electronic products. Developing a comprehensive knowledge of electronic components and how they work will be an essential part of the course, as will learning an in depth understanding of theoretical electronics. As such, the course does have a sizeable maths and science element, and you should have a good attainment record in these areas. You will learn to use a range of electronic software packages for circuit design and construction.
How Is The Course Organised And Assessed?
Exams: One written examination worth 40% of the course.
Controlled Assessment: The Major Project is in the form of course work, worth 60%
