Christmas Sheltered Shopping Event

On Monday December 5th a group of year 11 students participated in a charity event with Furness Lions and Asda.
The evening involved the students working with residents of local care homes assisting them with their Christmas shopping. This required the students to use communication skills, empathy, listening skills, team working skills. It was a very enjoyable and successful evening.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the students who took part for giving up their free time to help with the activity.
