Grand Final Trophy comes to Furness Academy
This week, Miss Stirzaker brought the Women’s Super League 2 Grand Final Trophy into school to showcase the Barrow Raiders Ladies achievement, with the aim of encouraging more girls to take up the sport and inspire pupils to follow their dreams.
With this said, Miss Stirzaker and Mr Walker will be running a girls’ rugby/football after school club every other Wednesday (in line with Staff CPD), commencing on the 31st of January. This is open to all years, no experience needed and all abilities welcome.
They hope to see lots of students there!
